Jeff Miller leads EY-Parthenon’s Americas Power & Utilities (P&U) Strategy practice. During his 25 years consulting to energy and utility companies, Jeff has helped clients address a variety of strategic and operational challenges to address the disruption facing the industry in terms of decarbonization, decentralization, digitization, and electrification.
Jeff has helped numerous utilities and energy services companies on their transformation journeys — including generation transition and deployment of renewable assets, decarbonization impacts for gas and electric utilities, digitization, innovation, advanced analytics, process and performance improvement, etc. His experience spans growth strategies related to emerging capabilities (distributed energy resources, solar/storage, electric vehicles), capability development within the Energy Delivery business, to identifying and executing on enterprise-wide cost and operational performance improvement opportunities.
Jeff has published articles and spoke at numerous industry conference around energy industry transition, including recent presentations at NARUC and SAP4U, working with the Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP) around levers of long-term value, and GridWise Alliance around the capabilities required of the future distribution utility.
He received his MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
