If you are transferring staff to the United States from anywhere in the world, our J1 Visa Program may well offer you a very expedient, easy and cost-effective solution. We are authorized by the United States Department of State to issue to qualified business trainees the Certificate of Eligibility necessary to apply for an Exchange Visitor (J-1) Visa. During 2008 and 2009, the United Kingdom Border Agency will be introducing a new immigration system. Rules common to both Training & Work Experience

 

The training or work experience must not be readily available in the participant's home country.

  • The participant must have the educational or professional qualifications necessary to take on the training or benefit from the work experience.
  • The participant must intend to go abroad again at the completion of the training and work experience.

Additional Rules for those Applying for Work Experience

  • The participant should generally be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.

Additional Rules for those Applying for Training

  • The participant must be between the ages of 18 and 54 years.
  • The training program should lead to a formal qualification.

Membership in a member association of the BABC is a prerequisite for Program participation.
