2008 sees the biggest shake up of UK Immigration control for 20 years. This conference will focus on transatlantic immigration issues and the impact that the many changes will have on businesses and employers.

High level speakers from the UK Border Agency will address the following questions:

• The points based system – what it means for employers

• How the points based system will work in practice

• Sponsorship and compliance- the impact on employers

• Biometrics – the new ID regime

The focus will then move to the US and we will consider:

• US Business Visa categories- sending key employees to work in the US

• An update from the US Consulate on transatlantic immigration issues
