Claire is an entrepreneur, NED, CEO and Founder of global thought leadership consultancy Man Bites Dog.

Claire develops future thinking for intelligent brands to position them as leaders in the next economy. With 25 years’ experience leading global strategic marcomms programmes, Claire and her team create signature campaigns for the technology, professional and financial services firms shaping the future of business.

Claire has developed global thought leadership campaigns on subjects from the future of work and global trade, to financing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Zeronomics (the economics of net zero transition).

Winner of B2B Marketing’s Specialist Consultancy of the Year 2022, Man Bites Dog has won more than ninety national and global awards, with recent highlights including awards for Best Global Content, Best International Campaign, Best Sustainability Campaign and Best Corporate Brand Campaign. Claire has also been recognised as the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Female Marketing Leader of the Year and an EY Winning Women Entrepreneur, as well as being included in leadership power lists from Management Today and Growing Business to PRWeek.

An established keynote speaker, Claire is an active champion of sustainability, global trade, the knowledge economy, entrepreneurship and diversity, equity and inclusion. Claire is campaigning to close the Gender Say Gap – a term she coined to address the underrepresentation of women and minorities in business and in public life – by increasing the visibility of thought-leading diverse experts.

With a passion for entrepreneurship and sustainable development, Claire holds Board Directorships at organisations including economic development board Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership and the Managing Partners’ Forum, which champions the knowledge economy. Claire is also Co-Chair of the CIPR ESG Communications Expert Panel. She is proud to be Entrepreneur in Residence at The British Library Business & IP Centre, supporting its mission to democratise entrepreneurship.
