The financial services industry has the ability to not only advocate for major societal change, but to power it. For that reason, no-one else can quite match the potential of FS marketers to catalyse progress.
The problem with social impact campaigns, however, is that having a widespread real-world impact doesn’t happen overnight. This webinar will look at the success factors in building a truly impactful social purpose marketing campaign, and will unpack one particular campaign that echoed around the world: BNY Mellon Investment Management’s Pathway to Inclusive Investment.
This webinar will feature bitesize insight from the team at Man Bites Dog and experts from our network:
Farmida Bi, EMEA Chair, Norton Rose Fulbright
Farmida Bi CBE is a solicitor who has been Chair of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP since May 2018, where she helps plan the firm’s strategic direction and monitor its financial and professional risks. She remains active in her own practices of debt capital markets and Islamic finance, advising on large international transactions for sovereigns and corporates.
In addition to her work at Norton Rose Fulbright, Farmida serves as Chair of the International Regulatory Strategy Group Council and is active in the charitable sector, serving as Vice-Chair of the Disasters Emergency Committee, Chair of Trustees for the Barbican Centre Trust and Chair of the Patchwork Foundation.
Dominic Traynor, Global Head of Digital & Demand Generation, BNY Mellon
Dominic heads up digital & demand generation for BNY Mellon. He is responsible for driving digital marketing strategy and building out the digital capability and experience across BNY Mellon’s main digital touchpoints: websites; email programmes and brand activation. Dominic was a key member of the team that delivered the award-winning The Pathway to Inclusive Investment campaign in 2022, which identified the gender inequality towards women in the investment industry and the change needed to address this. Dominic is a passionate purpose-driven marketer.
