BritishAmerican Business Director of Policy and Trade, Emanuel Adam, last week attended a meeting of the newly established US-UK SME Dialogue, held in Washington D.C.
Taking place around the 3rd US-UK Trade and Investment Working Group Meeting, Adam said the meeting was convened to explore the future US-UK trade and investment relationship post-Brexit and to look at opportunities to deepen the transatlantic economic relationship – particularly for SMEs.
Speaking on the US-UK SME Dialogue, Emanuel Adam said:
“BritishAmerican Business proudly supports any efforts to strengthen the economic co-operation between the United States and United Kingdom.”
“This dialogue is aimed at ensuring SMEs on both sides of the Atlantic are aware of the support that each Government offers, while having the opportunity to learn from other SMEs.”
“These meetings re-enforce the commitment of both the US and UK Governments to further building the transatlantic trade and investment relationship and BAB strongly supports the momentum we have seen as a result of the US-UK Trade and Investment Working Group.”
Two new publications were presented at the meeting that may be relevant to BAB members.
