BritishAmerican Business statement on U.S. Suspension of Digital Services Tax-related Tariffs

In response to the announcement that the United States Trade Representative (USTR) will suspend tariffs in Section 301 Digital Services Taxes Investigations, BritishAmerican Business said:

“Today, the USTR announced it would suspend digital services tax-related tariffs on the UK and 5 other countries. This is the right decision which avoids escalation and allows time to reach a multilateral solution to global taxation through the OECD. We recently outlined our position in a letter to the USTR which you can read here.”
