Chris Lecatsas-Lyus, Senior Global Director of Career and Leadership Development, Chicago Booth

Chris Lecatsas-Lyus is the Senior Global Director of Career and Leadership Development at Chicago Booth. She is responsible for the strategic oversight of leadership programming, executive coaching, and the coordination of career development events for Executive MBA students and alumni worldwide. Since her appointment in 2014, she has embedded trauma informed and mindfulness approaches to her work. Since 2019 Chris has led an accomplished team of coaches and employer relations professionals to create a uniquely integrated offering, tailored to the distinct needs of executive-level learners. 

Chris brings over two decades of experience in the fields of learning and development, career management, and executive coaching, with a career history that includes tenures at GSK, Her Majesty’s Treasury, and the Royal College of Physicians. Additionally, as a qualified psychotherapist, she has developed a specialized focus on neurodiversity coaching, particularly in supporting professionals who identify as being on the spectrum. 

Prior to her work at Chicago Booth, Chris led her own consultancy for two decades, providing expert coaching to clients across sectors including executive search, finance, technology, law, government, and higher education. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes respect for individual differences and a strong belief in individuals’ potential for growth, using coaching to support clients in achieving their professional objectives. 

Currently, she is conducting doctoral research on the topic of Work, Identity and Trauma at the University of Chester.
