It has been 10 years since the United Nations published their Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.  BAB has invited key experts to share their knowledge on the growing importance of Human Rights due diligence and the impact of reinforcement of these principles across the globe.  We welcome Samantha Rowe, Partner, Debevoise & Plimpton who will report on how judicial and quasi-judicial bodies across the globe have used and referenced the UNGPs in reaching decisions.

Also joining the panel is Crispin Conroy, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Representative Director, Geneva, and also the ICC Permanent Observer to the United Nations in Geneva has a lead role with the ICC’s informal working group on business and human rights.

Many companies are taking steps to adopt these principles and we are delighted to welcome Andy Pharoah, Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Mars, to provide insight and context in how this global confectionery giant is striving for corporate responsibility and managing human rights risks.
