A.J. Brown is a member of our M&A practice.

A.J. has worked with a range of AMS mid-cap customers to diligence, plan, and execute complex merger integrations. His work primarily focuses on organizational design, cost/revenue synergy execution, and integration-as-transformation strategies as businesses evolve and grow.

Beyond client work, A.J. is a leader in Bain’s DE&I efforts, leading our DE&I efforts in the Washington, D.C. office. Additionally, he is a global leader of our BGLAD affinity group, Bain’s LGBTQ+ network.

Prior to joining Bain, A.J. was a consultant for another top firm before completing his Master’s of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management.

In his personal time, A.J. and his husband, David, are deeply involved in LGBTQ+ and healthcare access organizations in the D.C. area.
