BritishAmerican Business Responds to the USA and France Reaching an Agreement on Digital Tax

We welcome the news that the United States and France have agreed to suspend their dispute on the French Digital Services Tax (DST) until the end of the year.

We believe this decision can inform the discussions on the UK’s DST. As stated in BAB’s Digital Services Tax position paper: Taxing the 21st Century Economy – Towards a Multilateral Approach, we believe that focusing on a multilateral approach is the right path to embrace taxation in a digital and global world.
