On October 17th, BAB, together with the US Chamber Global Innovation Policy Center, held the inaugural US-UK IP Working Group Meeting. The meeting, which included a discussion with Director Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, is the result of efforts made since IP featured in the 2022/23 Policy Agenda. The meeting establishes a business-led process promoting IP protection in global markets.
Commenting on the meeting, Emanuel Adam, Chief Policy and Trade Officer, said:
“We very much welcome the great collaboration between BAB and the US Chamber Global Innovation Policy Center; and we could not have wished for a better kick off. The strong attendance and discussion, as well as the commitment made by Director Vidal and UK Government to work with the group, provides momentum for the group to deliver tangible results.”
