Commenting on the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee confirmation hearing of Warren Stephens, heard on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, BritishAmerican Business CEO Duncan Edwards said:
“BritishAmerican Business welcomes this week’s Senate confirmation hearing of Warren Stephens to be US Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
“Given Mr. Stephens’ extensive business expertise and leadership in expanding economic opportunities both domestically and internationally, we are confident that he will serve as an exceptional Ambassador to the United Kingdom. If confirmed, we look forward to engaging collaboratively with Stephens to further enhance the economic, security, and cultural dimensions of the enduring UK-US transatlantic partnership.
“We also welcome Congress’s interest and commitment to advancing key initiatives such as AUKUS and broader military collaboration.
