Grant Marcks is a private equity investor with 10+ years of experience in business development, fundraising, capital markets, and relationship management. Grant is responsible for new platform investment and add-on sourcing, thesis development, corporate strategy and relationship building with The Riverside Company. Grant’s background includes a diversity of industry experience, completing dozens of investments across numerous verticals and through various capital structures across the lower and middle market.

Prior to rejoining Riverside in December 2020, Grant spent 6 years as Head of Business Development with Atlantic Street Capital, a lower middle market focused private equity firm based in New York. Prior to Atlantic Street, Grant worked with The Riverside Company from 2010-2015. He began his career with the New York County District Attorney’s office within the frauds investigation division.

Grant resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife and son.
