Heather Falconer is a Communications Director based in Brooklyn.
Originally from the UK, Heather’s work centers around communication and creating community. In 2009 she founded youth culture publication Spindle Magazine. From her time running the publication (2009-2016) Heather met and interviewed many interesting creators, and over the years she has formed a vast global network which she heavily relies on with her work in the PR world, especially for Falconer Agency.
After selling the Spindle business in 2016, Heather moved to New York, where she founded Falconer Agency, a PR & marketing agency promoting British and craft brands in the US market.
Heather has collaborated with some of the worlds top brands, including; Microsoft, Perrier, Footlocker, Converse, San Miguel, HMS International, Department of International Trade and Investment, Kangol, Mastercard, Everlast, Ben Sherman, Saatchi and Saatchi, Fiat, The British Army, Mazda, Sports Direct International, Universal Records, Sony Music and 4AD Records.
A side project of Heather’s is Hatchers – a think tank meets ideas factory, uniting the arts, sciences and technology. Through Hatchers, Heather has collaborated with Microsoft, Dropbox and Bloomberg.
Passionate about education, Heather has guest lectured many times over the years, and in 2019 she wrote and led a short course on ‘How to be a Creative Director’ for the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Heather has qualifications to teach yoga – vinyasa, restorative, nidra, as well as meditation and reiki.
