Jen Waldner is AIG’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, a position she has held since 2019. In this role, she is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company’s sustainability strategy. She brings more than 25 years’ experience and leadership working on matters related to corporate citizenship and sustainability. Since joining AIG in 2008, she has held positions of increasing responsibility focused on these areas, most recently as Head of Citizenship for AIG Life and Retirement. Prior to AIG, she spent a decade in citizenship roles at State Street, including Vice President of the State Street Foundation.
In 2022, she was recognized with the National Diversity Leadership Conference’s “Power 50 Award,” which honors women in the C-suite who endeavor to improve not just their departments and companies, but their communities as well. Jen is a board member of the Houston Community College Foundation, co-chair of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Sustainability Committee, a senior fellow in the American Leadership Forum and is a Girl Scout troop leader. She also serves as the Executive Sponsor of AIG’s Houston Young Professionals Employee Resource Group.
