Laura Devine Immigration are inviting you to join them for an essential update featuring senior Home Office officials and LDI partners discussing the imminent digital transformation of UK immigration.

The Home Office is rolling out its digitalisation programme at pace. eVisas (digital status) will replace physical immigration documents, including Biometric Residence Permits, by the end of 2024. Further, the extension of the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system to visitors from most countries (including the US) from 27 November 2024 means that many travellers who do not require a UK visa will now need to secure an ETA before travelling to the UK.

Businesses and individuals therefore need to be aware of the forthcoming changes, deadlines and the required next steps. On the cusp of these seismic changes, Laura Devine Immigration welcomes senior representatives from the Home Office to discuss critical operational developments and consider how businesses and individuals alike can prepare for this new digital landscape. Attendees will also have an opportunity to pose questions directly to the Home Office during the live Q&A session.

Chairs: Sophie Barrett-Brown (Senior Partner and Head of UK Practice) and Zeena Luchowa (Partner)
Home Office speakers: Lee Graham, Engagement Lead, Home Office FBIS Team and Aaron Walton, ETA Engagement Team
