Melanie, based in Surrey UK, is the Sectors and Communities Lead at ACCA.  She leads her team to shape and implement initiatives that build member value and lead to long lasting, advocacy driven communities across the 241,000 global membership base.

She is also Chair of the internal ACCA LGBTQIA+ Community, EMBRACE. EMBRACE was established in 2020 to promote education and sharing of knowledge to colleagues as well as establishing support and sense of community to LGBTQIA+ staff.  Mel also sits on the I&D committee, acting as a conduit between staff and HR, ensuring ACCA is a supportive and inclusive employer.
