Melissa’s practice specializes in complex commercial litigation – frequently with an international component – extending across a broad range of subject matters and industries. She regularly represents financial services companies and large corporate clients in the tech, energy, real estate, retail and entertainment sectors.  Melissa also represents clients in regulatory investigations, including investigations by the SEC, DOJ, and state and foreign regulators, and has conducted numerous internal investigations and pre-transaction compliance reviews, including in connection with several high profile and politically significant corruption investigations in Latin America.  She particularly enjoys working with clients on pre-dispute situation management and risk control in high-stakes, commercially sensitive scenarios.
