Michael Barill is a seasoned tax, trust, and estate administration attorney with extensive experience in estate planning, fiduciary litigation, IRS and U.S. Tax Court representation, corporate taxation, and mergers and acquisitions. He leads the firm’s Tax Practice Group and Estate and Trust Team. Michael has represented clients in complex transactions, including multi-million-dollar business transfers through Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), corporate reorganizations, and tax-free mergers. He also has experience handling trust litigation, estate administration, and tax penalty abatements, advising clients on federal estate, gift, and income tax matters across multiple states.
