As Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Cushman & Wakefield, Nadine Augusta drives global commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) as a firmwide priority. This includes creating an environment that offers equitable and fair growth opportunities for all employees and the businesses with which Cushman & Wakefield works, while ensuring the firm brings diverse thought and expertise to its clients. Nadine takes a holistic approach to DEI, with a focus on workforce, workplace and marketplace, especially in the areas of recruiting, talent development and supplier diversity.
Nadine has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, with key positions in management consulting, project management, sales and trading, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to assuming her current position, she was Americas Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Goldman Sachs, where she led talent engagement, equity and inclusion efforts. Before that, Nadine worked at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) as the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility, and held various leadership positions at Bank of America, including Senior Vice President, Global Diversity & Inclusion. Notably, she was a member of the U.S. Trust and Merrill Lynch merger integration teams, contributing to the wealth management pre-merger assessment and integration strategy and leading the Global Markets technology deployment testing strategies. Nadine has also worked at several leading institutions, including Credit Suisse, BearingPoint LLC/KPMG Consulting LLC, and Pershing LLC.
Nadine is a member of the Board of Trustees for Brooklyn LAB Charter School, has twice received the President’s Volunteer Service Award, and was a recipient of the “Black Achiever in Industry” award from the YMCA of Greater New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Peter’s University in New Jersey and completed the Ascent Executive Leadership Program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She resides in New York.
