Margaret “Peggy” Collins is the Washington Bureau Chief for Bloomberg News. Previously, she oversaw the newsroom’s coverage of the U.S. economy during the pandemic, as a managing editor. Collins started at Bloomberg in 2009 as a reporter — covering personal finance, wealth management and family offices — and then became a team leader of investing coverage from New York. Collins has a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School.
