RIBA-USA is excited to welcome Do Janne Vermeulen as a guest speaker on Tuesday Dec 19th at 12pm EST, 5pm GMT and 6pm CET. Do Janne is a founding partner at Team V in Amsterdam, a fifty strong architectural office whose work includes a variety of commercial, residential and public sector projects across The Netherlands.

Team V has a strong architectural style from the dynamic and elegant Rotterdam Central Train Station to The House of Province in Arnhem, a deft piece of urban fixing combining the renovation of an existing government building with new new-build elements, to the Atlas Building at the Eindhoven University of Technology – a 44,000m2 renovation of an existing 60s building which had the first use of curtain glass in The Netherlands.

Team V is also pioneering the use of Mass Timber construction. This year here in New York City our Economic Development Corporation created the, ‘NYC Mass Timber Studio’ as part of the city’s decarbonization efforts.
